Water has been the subject of debate for a while in the world of Bodybuilding. Some experts suggest less water at certain points during a cut and others take the opposite view. 

Personally, I believe that if you are natural, and are not taking any hormones, the more water the better. I cannot speak for those who are taking hormones, because I've never taken them, but for those who are looking to lose weight and are doing it naturally, it is important to keep yourself hydrated.

Generally, men should be drinking at least 13 cups of water per day, and women should be drinking 9. However, if you're factoring in workouts and other activities throughout the day, that numer should be more.

Why Is Water Important For Weight Loss

Water is important for weight loss because without the proper amount of water your body slowly goes into survival mode which means it starts to store as much as it can in preparation to go a long time without the necessary nutrients it needs.

This slows your metabolism making it difficult to lose weight. So make sure you are keeping yourself hydrated at all times!
